Bill Jenkins, co-founder, started working life as a reporter on a weekly newspaper before joining a daily paper group and giving up tramping the streets for sitting on the news desk. There then followed seven years working closely with senior civil servants and politicians from Secretaries of State down, sorting out their communication and media needs. But a return to the private sector beckoned and Bill joined BT in Cardiff as broadcast manager before taking over the main job of head of public relations for the telecom giant in Wales. Seeing how hard he worked for others he decided to work for himself and launched his own communications agency Quadrant which went on to handle some of the biggest PR contracts around. His experience over the years has encompassed everything from tourism and leisure to planning issues and major development schemes. He has advised clients in a wide range of businesses and industries including health, education, technology, manufacturing, professional services, energy, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. He has also enjoyed a close working relationship with major public sector clients such as Welsh Government, European Parliament and the European Commission.

He and Bill set up Spencer David, bringing their combined years of experience together in a sophisticated new offering to deliver to clients at both strategic and operation levels.
